Independent Equity Research

Why Slackline Exists
I'm Troy, and I enjoy doing equity research on publicly traded companies. As a business journalist at The Spokesman-Review, I used the same analysis that drives my valuations to explain a live utility rate case to a newspaper's readers.
Slackline is my independent equity research publication: two real-money portfolios, growth and value, are benchmarked and run on formal Investment Policy Statements modeled on the CFA Institute framework. My positions are backed by a full written thesis, valuation work, and a writing structure and style that strives to match the quality of professional equity research.
